Sometimes things start just casually and turn into a learning and enjoyable experience. We have a movie club where we bunch of friends get together regularly to watch a movie and discuss about it. The lockdown/ stay-at-home orders of course restricted us from getting together. A casual suggestion from me that we should make our own short movies and display it was taken in with enthusiasm and great results.
We had a time restriction of 5-7 min and this idea just took germ in my mind which I developed into a story line as we went along. I involved my mother, daughter, niece and nephew (from out of state) and they also participated with acting and videography. We used my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone for shooting and MS Video Editor program for editing. Part fun, part learning experience it was received to great reviews among our friends and we also saw some great films made by others.
So what could have been a boring, tiresome, fearful time period in our lives became an opportunity to learn something new and have fun. Hope you like it.
